Trend – Hair accessories

Hair accessories are a big feature this season, especially as all sorts of celebrities have been sporting them, from Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton to Helen Christianson and Jessica Alba, many have brought back their childhood favorite the Alice band but now it is so much more grown up, embellished with things like big jewels, funky flowers, bows and zips. Hair accessories can add so much to your outfit and can change a look from day to night. There are some more daring items out there but don’t worry if you can’t stomach anything too garish! Just try to keep in mind the styles of the season, if you like to make a statement why not try a on trend military style pillbox of a feather headdress not cowboy and Indian style but more like Topshop Catwalk show autumn/winter 2009/10. If your style is more minimal than statement, why not go for smaller accessories like flowery clips, pretty hair corsage or a little bow. The key to remember is to keep it simple and on trend you don’t want to go as far a tiara and end up looking like a princess wannabe or a bride.
